A sub that tells you no on day one.
ABH takes sub roles in commercial-item hardware inside the simplified-acquisition band. It has no awards, no CPARS record and no certification it can hand you — and it will say which of your bids that rules it out of before you spend a call finding out.

Cadence
Inquiry to proposal-ready in ten business days.
A process cadence, not a contractual SLA. It moves with solicitation complexity, DD250 requirements and your own review windows — but the T+1 answer is the one ABH holds to regardless, because a prime waiting on a sub is the expensive part.
Step 1: T+1 business day
Capability-fit response
Receipt logged, NAICS overlap recapped, and a go / no-go on the solicitation. A no-go arrives as fast as a go — a sub who says yes to everything costs a prime more at proposal than one who declines on day one.
Step 2: T+3 business days
Priced decomposition
Your line items priced against published OEM list, with the FAR 15.404-1 breakdown attached: list, channel discount, net cost, freight, and the margin as a number your price analyst can use. Until ABH's distributor applications clear, the discount line is an assumption and is labelled as one rather than quoted as a rate ABH holds.
Step 3: T+5 business days
Teaming agreement, your paper
ABH works from the prime's template rather than pushing one of its own, with performance allocations spelled out at line-item level. Small-business representations are whatever SAM.gov says on the day you check it.
Step 4: T+10 business days
Proposal-ready
Capability statement, pricing approach, trade-compliance attestations and the signed agreement in one package. Past performance is not in that package, because there is none.
Before you call
Four answers, one of them a no.
- Does ABH count toward a subcontracting plan?
- ABH is a small business under its registered NAICS codes and is veteran-owned, self-attested under 38 U.S.C. § 8127, with an SBA VetCert application in process. Whether that supports credit under your plan is your determination against ABH's current SAM.gov representations — not something ABH will assert for you.
- Can ABH carry past performance on the bid?
- No. ABH was formed in May 2026 and has no awards. If the solicitation weights past performance or the prime needs a sub with a CPARS record, ABH is the wrong sub for that bid and would rather say so now.
- What size of scope fits?
- Micro-purchase through simplified acquisition, in commercial-item hardware. Above that band a one-operator reseller is a risk to the prime, not a help, and the honest answer is a referral.
- Who does the prime actually deal with?
- One person, named on the About page, who prices the lines and answers the phone about them. No channel desk and no account manager — which is the advantage and the limit in the same sentence.
